The Chemistry Department at UMass Boston offers the Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, and Master of Science degrees in addition to a combined B.S./M.S. degree, a Minor in Chemistry and a Joint Major in Biochemistry (coadministered with the Biology Department). The specialty of our Department is in the field of Green Chemistry, and we are proud to be the first school in the country to offer a doctoral degree via the Ph.D. in Chemistry/Green Chemistry Track.
