Tracy is a retired school teacher who started missing the kids after a few years in retirement and found a job at an after school program near her home. She brought in lesson plans and materials that she saved from school, but is having some difficulty in figuring out new ways to use them, especially considering that she needs to work with a much broader age range of children – she used to teach 6th grade and now she works with 6th-8th graders.


Many lessons she’s tried involve worksheets and a discussion of answers, meaning that there is not much room for child inquiry in her lessons.
