Gerald
Scenarios
Gerald is a part-time employee at a small afterschool program. He just joined the staff 3 months ago, but already he’s shown a special aptitude for getting the 10-11 year old kids in his group comfortable with reading aloud – he’s not afraid to show them when he struggles, so they are more comfortable with their hesitations.
He hasn’t yet planned many other activities, seeming content to let more seasoned staff direct him. He was hired by the program, in part, because he grew up in the community and can relate to the diverse populations who live there.
