Wei Ding received her Ph.D in Computer Science from the University of Houston in Houston, Texas in May 2008, then joined the Department of Computer Science of UMass-Boston as an Assistant Professor in Fall 2008. Wei received her BS degree in Computer Science and Applications from Xi'an Jiao Tong University in 1993 and her MS degree in Software Engineering from George Mason University in 2000. Wei is currently serving as a program committee member for the 20th IEEE Int'l Conference on Tools with Artificial Intelligence (ICTAI 2008), International Workshop on Spatial and Spatiotemporal Data Mining (SSTDM 2008), the 17th International Conference on Software Engineering and Data Engineering, and she also served as a session chair for the 2007 IEEE International Workshop on Spatial and Spatio-temporal Data Mining in cooperation with IEEE ICDM.
