Eliot

Eliot works with K-1 kids. Her STEM lessons generally fall into two categories, Math and gardening. She’s can’t wait till the summer when she can plant the garden she plants every year with the kids.

In the meantime, she’s feeling in a bit of a rut: she can see the children becoming disengaged from her counting activities and finding other ways to amuse themselves (like mixing up the numbers on purpose for a laugh), but she is just not very comfortable with the other types of STEM learning and worries that she’ll confuse the kids if her teaching doesn’t line up with what they do in school.
