Project Week by Week

Here are project milestones that you can use as a guide for your team project:

Week 1

 Team lead creates wiki space for team

• Team determines a mutually convenient time  for synchronous meeting
• Team selects team roles
• Team brainstorms ideas for wiki
• Team meets synchronously to review team project

 Week 2

• Team members work on researching information for wiki and writing first drafts of wiki pages, looking for images, and building wiki space
• Team members are communicating with each other using various internet tools
• Team members publish their blogs to wiki spaces
• Team lead assists team members build wiki space
• Team creates Map of Harbor Island using an internet mapping tool

Week 3 

• Editor reviews and comments on 1st drafts of wiki copy and Image editor and copy editor decide which image to use
• Copy writers rewrite copy and post revisions to site
• Team members are communicating with each other using various internet tools
• Team lead assists team members build wiki space
• Team reviews and revises internet map and adds clickable tags and rss feeds.

 Week 4

• Final drafts of wiki copy is published to wiki site
• Review wiki rubric to ensure that wiki meets all requirements.
